Purpose of award: To offer scholarships to members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM).
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must have two years of continuous good standing membership and must be working for a company under contract with the IAM. Applicants may be entering college or vocational/technical school as a freshman or at a higher level with some college credits already completed. Grades, attitude, references, test scores, activities and participation in local lodge are considered in selecting scholarship recipients.

Applicants must have at least a 3.5 GPA, and they must show proof of community service participation. Students only need to complete the online application one time to be considered for all FFA-administered scholarships. The application requires information about the students' activities and a 1,000-word essay. Awards may be used for books, supplies, tuition, fees and room and board.
