Purpose of award: To provide scholarships for descendents of members of the Jewish War Veterans of the USA.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be direct descendents of a JWV member in good standing. Candidates must also have been accepted to an accredited college, university or nursing school, be in the upper 25 percent of their class and be active in activities at school and within the Jewish community.

Eligibility requirements: Students must be legally blind in both eyes and admitted full-time to a post-secondary academic or vocational program. A minimum GPA of3.3 is required, except in extenuating circumstances. Students who work full-time and attend school part-time may apply for the John Hebner Memorial Scholarship. Scholarship recipients are expected to attend a national convention if they are over 18.

Purpose of award: To allow financially disadvantaged, physically challenged students a chance to obtain a college education.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be significantly physically challenged (although not necessarily in a wheelchair), demonstrate severe financial need (such that they could not attend college without financial aid), and have at least a B+ average in previous scholastic work. Applicants must also be under age 21 and be high school seniors or college freshmen with previous community contributions. Applicants must submit applications, parents'/guardians' tax returns, test scores, photos, three recommendations, and transcripts.
