Purpose of award: To promote academic excellence in Colorado high school seniors.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be Colorado residents graduating from high school or receiving a GED. They must also be U.S. citizens or national or permanent residents of the U.S. Applicants must have an unweighted GPA of at least 3.8 or a weighted GPA of at least 4.0 and have received a score of 31 or above on the ACT or a score of 2040 or above on the SAT. Students receiving a GED must score in the top 5 percent of Colorado GED scores. Applicants must be accepted into an accredited post-secondary institution and provide proof of acceptance with the application.
