Purpose of award: To assist visually-impaired students who plan to assist others who are visually impaired.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be legally blind, with a vision of 20/200 or less in the best eye or 20 degrees or less in the visual field. Applicants must also study in college or a similar institution and must be in the field of services for the blind or visually impaired. Scholarships are only awarded in the even numbered years.
