Purpose of award: To award Junior Girls who excel academically, are actively involved in Junior Girls and demonstrate leadership at school.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be Junior Girls ages 13 to 16 and active members of a Ladies Auxiliary VFW Junior Girls Unit for at least a year who have held an office. Applicants must also submit letters of recommendation, a transcript and a list of activities.

High school students
Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $100-$10,000.
Number of awards: 2.
Deadline: March 11.
