Purpose of award: Summer program to provide high school students with a college-level, intellectually enriching experience.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be high school juniors. The association seeks applicants from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds and provides for their tuition and room and board during summer programs in New York, Texas and Michigan. Students are invited to apply either by receiving a score on the PSAT /NMSQT that is usually in the top 1 percent, or by nomination by a teacher or counselor.
